Shihad Wiki Shihad Wiki is the biggest resource of information on the internet for the NZ band Shihad. This website was started in March 2007 and has steadily grown into a monster of a site. This site features information on past concerts, their discography, tabs, history and a whole lot more of history revolving around the band. If you would like to help out and get an account so you can help edit the site email Karit and he will sort you out with an account and what not. Why do you need and account to edit? isn't this a wiki? Well having people sign up is in hope to stop vandalism and spamming. News 08 June 2008 - Shihad to support Gyroscope on their Aussie tour this August "Gyroscope on the move. Having gone number 1 with their new album, Breed Obsession, Perth band Gyroscope is hitting the road with a national tour, kicking it off at August's Splendour in the Grass. Supported by Shihad and Sugar Army, Gyroscope will play a string of dates in Sydney, including The Metro, on August 26. The band will also perform at Castle Hill, Revesby, Penrith, Campbelltown, Kingsford, Caringbah, Blacktown and Mona Vale." We will post official dates and venues here once we know them. 26 Aug - The Metro, Sydney, NSW, AU 08 June 2008 - Beautiful Machine to be third single Shihad are shooting their third video off the album for Beautiful Machine in NZ on Tuesday in Auckland the video is to be directed by Sam Peacock who has done videos for King Kapisi and the Mint Chicks who have both had cool videos in the past. 22 May 2008 - Shihad to play headlining show in London Shihad and COG are to play a headlining show at Shepherds Bush Empire on the 5th of July tickets are avaliable now from http://www.ticketweb.co.uk This show is bound to bring heaps of ex-pat kiwis and aussies from all over England, so be in quick! 5 Jul - Shepherds Bush Empire, London, UK 20 May 2008 - Shihad Wiki Shihad interview We here have got an interview set up with the boys from Shihad. Cog are also heading up to this festival with them. Hopefully a few more dates will be announced. 6 Jul - Stoke Park (GuilFest), Guildford, Surrey, UK 16 May 2008 - WA Tour Dates Shihad are going over to Western Aussie for a 3 gig visit. Not a lot of details have been released about these gigs yet, but here are the dates. 28 Aug - Settlers Tavern, Margaret River, WA, AU 29 Aug - Prince of Wales, Bunbury, WA, AU 30 Aug - Capitol, Perth, WA, AU 6 May 2008 - NZ Tour announced Shihad are coming over to NZ for a 6 stop tour this July. They are touring with the Mint Chicks, Luger Boa and comedian MC Dai Henwood. Apparently there is also a biography on the way, nothing was said as to when this will be released.
