Shihad Wiki Shihad Wiki is the biggest resource of information on the internet for the NZ band Shihad. This website was started in March 2007 and has steadily grown into a monster of a site. This site features information on past concerts, their discography, tabs, history and a whole lot more of history revolving around the band. If you would like to help out and get an account so you can help edit the site email Karit and he will sort you out with an account and what not. Why do you need and account to edit? isn't this a wiki? Well having people sign up is in hope to stop vandalism and spamming. There is more that we would like to do to make this site better and their there a great Team making this happen. If you like the site and want to help out in a different way have a read of this. News 6 March 2009 - New Album? Solo Project? Concerts! As heard from an interview with Jon on NZ radio station "The Rock," Shihad are apparently working on new material in the studios, he also mentioned that he has been working on some solo songs, which could lead onto a possible solo album at some time. Also as a reminder that the AUT concert in Auckland is on tonight, Shihad on at 11pm ish, and also that the Dunedin gig at Carisbrook is on tomorrow after the Highlanders V Crusaders game. Shihad will be on around 9.30pm. 18 February 2009 - Sweet-Picks Cancelled "It is with regret that the UCSA wishes to advise that the Sweet Picks event has been cancelled. The event organiser, Mission Controlled, has informed the UCSA that it is no longer able to meet its contractual obligations." 10 February 2009 - Rock n Rally Cancelled "Due to unforeseen circumstances the Rock N Rally Charity event has been forced to cancel. If you have purchased your tickets over the phone or on the web, the credit card used to make the purchase will be automatically refunded within 14 days. If you purchased at one of our outlets please return to point of purchase to claim your refund." 5 February 2009 - Shihad with Mint Chicks at AUT Orientation 09 Shihad, The Mint Chicks and Afratone will play at this years student orientation in Auckland. This gig will make it the 3rd Auckland gig for March. Canterbury University will play host to a new festival this year in the Ilam Oval. There are going to be four acts playing, but currently Shihad and Supergroove are the only ones announced. So be sure to be there on the 28th of Feb as this day will go off! 28 Feb - Ilam Oval, Christchurch, NZ 25 January 2009 - Shihad to rock Dunedin and Auckland Shihad have booked a slot to play after the rugby at Carisbrook in Dunedin on the 7th of March and on the 19th of March in Auckland at the Rising Sun with guests Spacifix.
