Shihad Wiki Shihad Wiki is the biggest resource of information on the internet for the NZ band Shihad. This website was started in March 2007 and has steadily grown into a monster of a site. This site features information on past concerts, their discography, tabs, history and a whole lot more of history revolving around the band. If you would like to help out and get an account so you can help edit the site email Karit and he will sort you out with an account and what not. Why do you need and account to edit? isn't this a wiki? Well having people sign up is in hope to stop vandalism and spamming. There is more that we would like to do to make this site better and their there a great Team making this happen. If you like the site and want to help out in a different way have a read of this. Weta's Official MySpace 16 August 2008 - Peoples Choice award at VMAs Shihad are in the running for the Peoples Choice Award at this years Vodafone Music Awards. Anyone can vote this year and you can vote once a day. Seen a lot of people from the Had Squad rocking it. We have a present for all of you who love the had. To download the recording of the Dunedin gig follow this link. Gig 20080717 A video of the Dunedin and Wellington gig plus a special interview done with the band and an awesome photo gallery will be released onto a special DVD created by the fans for the fans sometime after the tour is over. This was directed by Sam Peacock. Keep your eyes pealed. 13 July 2008 - Shihad to play another show in WA Shihad will be playing at this years Hyperfest in Perth. This is to be held on the 31st of August and features other bands such as Birds of Tokyo and The Getaway Plan. Tickets are expected to be on sale from the middle of this month for a very cheap price of only $10! 31 Aug - Midland Gate (Hyperfest), Perth, WA, AU 03 July 2008 - Grazzhopper festival in October Shihad will play in Geelong this October as apart of Grazzhopper Festival. The festival is being held at Beckley Park. Other bands playing include, Grinspoon, Faker, Operator Please, Dukes Of Windsor, The Galvatrons and Mammal. Tickets are on sale now. 3 Oct - Beckley Park (Grazzhopper Festival), Geelong, VIC, AU 08 June 2008 - Shihad to support Gyroscope on their Aussie tour this August "Gyroscope on the move. Having gone number 1 with their new album, Breed Obsession, Perth band Gyroscope is hitting the road with a national tour, kicking it off at August's Splendour in the Grass. Supported by Shihad and Sugar Army, Gyroscope will play a string of dates in Sydney, including The Metro, on August 26.
