Why are all venues called 'the Metro' good? I'm going to see if there is one that sucks - I'll let y'all know if I find one. This place is gorgeous - the place where the Smashing little Bumpkins started and finished, many a video has been shot and tonight we get walk the boards and do our thing. We swap our Drum-tech's - Lucas Berrini yet again must leave us due to a family issue and we are joined by the fine and wonderful Marco who has spent most of his life setting up two enormous kits for a band called Ill nino. By comparision my shit's a breeze.

The venue has one of those compact rooms that's really wide with a huge stud but not particularly deep so it feels like everyone is really really close, and it goes off - No wonder ministry came from this town. Jon bleeds all over his guitar, Karl throws out his new bass manuveures and I get given a bunch of crunchie bars by a lovely kiwi girl called Lynda - They have become the highlight of the table on our bus!

After the show we do our meet and greet thing which means we get to great and meet some fine people including contest winners from Florida and then we head off to an Italian resturant that is the first good food we've had in days - makes us feel like we're walking on air.

Do we talk more about food than rock in our posts...........................

Listened to Bill hicks tonight - He's my messiah. She turned up to the show too - freaked the fuck out of everyone.
