Information
Hot on the heels of the SOLD OUT run of Killjoy and General Electric album shows comes news of SHIHAD’s national tour in support of IGNITE – their new album slated for a September 24th release through iconic rock label Roadrunner Records.
Those in the know describe ‘Ignite’ as harkening back to many of the original raw elements of Shihad – the rumbling and slow spiralling heavy groove unfolding under the thick crackle of a duelling Telecaster and SG all underpinning Jon Toogood’s engaging vocal.
Joining Shihad on the Ignite tour to round out a smokin’ bill are Trial Kennedy and Black Devil Yard Boss (BDYB).
Trial Kennedy barely need introduction after their incendiary debut album ‘New Manic Art’ ripped through Australian rock airwaves in 2008; and word is TK will be playing cuts from an imminent new release.
BDYB features ex-Mammal members Pete Williamson and Zane Rosanoski and ex-Pete Murray’s Stonemason bass player Michael Davids. The debut BDYB EP is released on August 13th and their first single ‘One Dead Letter’ is spinning on triple j radio.
This is an 18+ event.
