Notes
Whether you’re from the Waikato or from Wales celebrate the unique sound that has put kiwi music on the world stage. The Kiwi Cream music extravaganza is led by one of our most popular rock bands, SHIHAD. They’ve toured the world, produced number one albums and the most Top 40 Single Chart appearances for any New Zealand artist. Then there’s Supergroove, a volatile concoction of soul, rap and funk. Add the upcoming Kids of 88, whose catchy tunes saw their debut single ‘My House’ go Platinum, then top it off with OPSHOP – one of New Zealand’s best loved bands, who’ve produced a constant stream of massive hits and two multi platinum-selling albums.
Bookended by two RWC games (New Zealand v Japan on Friday 16 September and Wales v Samoa on Sunday 18 September) Kiwi Cream will add to a huge weekend in Hamilton with a spectacular feast of Kiwi contemporary music.
