The song described by Jon: "'You Again' was about my partner at the time and we always had an extremely volatile relationship. Heights on both sides of love and also fucking hate, you know? And I'm sure I'm not alone in going through extremes and I'm sure I made her hate me as well. I wrote this after a particular instance where I thought it would be best if I never saw her again and that is how the song starts: "I hope I never see you again". I'd never met a person like that - that I was so attracted to, yet so confused by their version of what is was like to be involved with another person. My previous experiences before that relationship were a lot mellower. So, it was intense, and it was more just trying to work out another person, you know? It's weird, because I ended up marrying that person, and as vicious as 'You Again' is, she was still pretty happy being the object of that song, which is a pretty horrible and depressing song.
