good night last night. caught up with some old friends and hung out with some new ones to. couldn't get the 'Drew Carey' show theme outta my head all day and for some reason, while we were onstage, that fused with Bryan Adams' 'Everywhere I go - the Kids Wanna Rock!" so needless to say my onstage banter was ridiculous. discussed the term 'wanker' on air at WMMS and the difference between being 'pissed' in the US and being 'pissed' in NZ. (our favourite thing at the moment is everytime our US tour manager tells us he's 'pissed' we ask him the question "what, and angry?" so very mature.) the venue tonight is the Odean, a huge black rock hall which suits us just fine. extremely loose show (in the best way possible - smashings, bashings and rock moves galore) and an even looser crowd. lots of smiling, sreaming and bouncing coming from the rockers in the pit the whole show which ends with me almost getting my guitar stolen at the end of "my mind sedate" - loved it. afterwards caught up with Frank, the bass player from Filter who's into 'the General Electric' and collecting guns. a complete nutcase and a top bloke. there are lots of interesting folk in Cleveland and apart from the bitter fucking cold here, I dug it.
