There wasn't many people at the show tonight, but man the food was good. we went to Lizards Thicket across the road. You could get one meat and three veg for about $5. I got country fried chook with mixed greens, beans and coleslaw plus some cornbread too. The waitress was pretty funny, she was only about 19 but she acted like she had worked there since she was five. We told her if she brought 10 friends to the show we'd give her a t-shirt... she never turned up. Anyway the people that did turn up to the show, we're soooo into it. A guy was screaming out "I'm not fucking alright!" inbetween songs and someone else yelled out "Play Metallica like you did last time". i think we played Run for the first time in a while. We had a bunch of people at the show that saw us two and a half months ago with TrustCo and Chevelle. Its good to see that we had made an impact on some people that cared enough to buy our album and come and see us play again with their friends. We loaded up our gear and drove to the next town. I think Shinedown only ended up playing 6 songs, but they apparently got really drunk afterwards. Its a pity Lizards Thicket is only in South Carolina... x karl
